Yeah... While I do enjoy Korean barbecue, when the beef is premium quality, dunking it in marinade and spice and sauce just feels like a huge huge waste to me. The natural beef flavour is good on its own. Now if it's just a regular grocery store beef, then by all means, all the seasonings would cover any funky smell that you get with that kind of cheaper cut.
