I think I speak for all the readers when I say, happy vacation.

Also, did some digging of my own as I read that last page, cus i got damn curious.. Cant say its as thorough as your research always is, but I tried.

Apparantly around the 1990's, there were only two properly recorded chillipeppers on the Scoville scale. Scotch Bonnet and Habanero.

So, still spicy, but looking back at them now, kind of cute to hear habanero be thought of as the worlds spiciest.

Habaneros actually held the record for a very long time. It wasn't until Ghost Peppers came about that they were knocked off.
