I have nothing against rich people (so long as they are old money and not parvenu).

But! As mentioned in older chapters, I hate it when the chapters focused on the so-called love rivals. They are boring.

The love rivals are certainly there for drama, but unfortunately, they're one of the manga's weakest elements, since the focus for most of the time is cooking and nothing else.

And of all of the rivals, I'd say only Kinjo is the most decent person of them all, since his inclusion usually doesn't result in whatever situation that Yamaoka has to solve because of Dan's/Mariko's doings.

I agree that the love rival stuff is boring, though I find your attitude toward the wealthy pretty bizarre, but that's maybe just because as a socialist, I just dislike the wealthy in general, but I certainly think the crusty inherited old money is far worse than new money, but that's just me.

He also isn't nearly as obnoxious as Mariko and Dan are. He's just a dude who likes Kurita and isn't playing games or trying to impress her or force the situation.

I have no problem with the wealthy. I used have royalty as my classmate, and she was a kind person (even tried to invite me to her home). I don't like parvenu because they like to show off but have terrible taste in everything (money =/= good taste). Whereas old money are wealthy, but they keep themselves low-profile (they preserved and keep wearing/using passed down items due to its quality). You wouldn't know they are one unless you have keen observation.

Either way, I am fed up with the chapters that focused on love rivals. Even the next chapter would have been better without it. Kurita and Yamaoka aren't even dating, and yet her co-workers think badly of him just because he is working closely with a love rival...
