The Kantō-Kansai thing always fascinates me LOL. Even the food shape, like if you ask for zenzai what you'd get it Kansai is completely different from the Kantō style. I do hear that the difference is not that strict these days, but still.
Great Taikō: Toyotomi Hideyoshi, whose centre of power is focused on Ōsaka. Pre-Tokugawa government are generally situated more in the Kansai area, with Kyoto as the old capital, but Hideyoshi specifically had his main castle in Ōsaka.
Traitor Ieyasu: Some people perceived that the way Tokugawa Ieyasu took over control and established the Tokugawa shogunate is unjust towards the Toyotomi family. It was said that Ieyasu's "tanuki" nickname was due to this, it wasn't a good nickname, it actually means "sneaky backstabber".
