What I can't figure out is how the art quality is worse than Maga Tsuki. I reread Maga Tsuki, and it looked pretty high quality in comparison to this. It's just kinda weird. Maybe the mangaka is trying to get away with fewer assistants? Idk.

I would say it depends on the hair style, more than just the length. Saionji's hair looks like the hair you would find on an MC's bullied male friend in a lot of anime or manga.
Rui from Domestic Girlfriend is pretty cute with her short hair.
