Its strange that the LN got axed but there's a manga adaptation? How does that work?

The manga was the adaptation of a LN with the same title that Yuko, the original creator, was serializing for free in a platform for amateur writers called "syosetu". There were already 84 chapters in October, when the manga began in Magapoke. The manga was successful enough to get Yuko the chance of having the LN published by Kodansha, and the first book appeared in December. It seems that the sales were too low and there will be no more LN books.

Kamogawa-sensei is doing not only the illustrations, but also the manuscripts of the manga and, with permission from Yuko, he's changing a lot of things from the originals. Maybe that is why the novel were axed but the manga goes on.

It also seems that the "Okaasan" part of the title helped a lot to get Yuko's series comicalized, as the publisher considered it could draw the attention of female readers, too. The fact is that even when the characters say once and again that married moms should be respected, Kachua keeps on finding hersel in embarrassing situations.

Started out cute, but this is just absolutely random crap one after another, and not in a good way...
Also, considering that people here say that the LN itself was axed, I don't even see the point of going through this manga anymore. The kids & husband don't even make an appearance, this is just random fluff with really good artwork, meh.

I remember someone spoiling the LN before and saying it ended without the husband appearing, but seems like the LN was axed and i also don't know if the spoilers were true. So maybe they are going to show the husband in the manga eventually, but to be honest, they are not even showing her kids anymore, feels like if it's not for a joke seems like they don't even remember Kachua is married with kids.

I dunno who told you the LN got axed but there is no LN yet atm. The 1st volume of the LN will be published this December by Kodansha.

The WN that is published on Syosetsu is technically still ongoing although author has been rather busy with her other WNs that also have gotten manga adaptations, so the last update was last December. It seems she did something like this during the 5th arc (we're at the 2nd arc atm) where she took like 6+ months before starting the next chapter.

At the very least, the manga has plenty of content to adapt before it gets forced to prematurely ends.
