I dunno that manga but there is a hentai with some similar elements: a younger brother and his sister. He has a crush on her but was cucked by their stepdad.
His sister and stepdad later had a daughter and a son. It ended with a time skip, with a scene in that he fucked their daughter and their son watched them behind the door like the start of the story implying shit goes full circle again.

The scene from previous chapters with the girl touching her belly made me think that they've done it before but failed somehow. Maybe the target is too old and infertile or refused out of conscience. They might also have disposed the previous guy to keep their secret.

As for the grandma having suspicions for no reason, my guess is there's something missing in translations. But then again a mother tends to have sharp intuitions if it's regarding her children. I know, cuz my mom's sometimes read me like a book.

Could also have been in the tone of her voice, something that doesn’t translate at all in manga. She even said it: “there’s nothing wrong with what she said”. So my guess is “how” she said it that was weird. She probabuy had the classic “yandere” voice or something.

So Touka is essentially being raised and groomed into being a surrogate mother for her own mother. Goddamn, these two are beyond fucked. Now we’ve seen what Touka is capable of when it comes to getting rid of any obstacles in her path, and we’ve seen the mother when it comes to setting things up. We haven’t seen vice versa for both of them.

I can’t help but wonder though, despite everything, does Touka actually love him? It would be a sick twisted kind of love, but is it there? She acts so happy around him, and it’s not feigned happiness as can easily be displayed by the way her “friends” and classmates react to her.

I doubt the mother genuinely loves him, he’s a means to an end, and she’s just using him. But Touka might love him, if she does indeed love him, and her mother gets some funny ideas about “dealing” with him… I can’t imagine Touka will just go along with her, sitting idly by as the man she has some sort of love for is “taken care of” we don’t know what happened to her actual father after all.

The mother might be trying to recreate some sort of relationship she had with her own step father in the past, if her words and the whole “glad she was born a girl” thing is anything to go by. In which case, we haven’t met any of the mother’s extended family.

Is Touka a victim in all of this as well, just as he is, are the two of them both victims of the mother? We’ll see how things progress, both good and bad won’t we? That text at the end might be spelling some trouble for the family in the near future, just please, don’t hurt the baby.
