Lots of info got lost in translation, either by incompetence, or by necessity. Man is spamming the woman's phone with messages. He's asking if she and her husband are having sex. And he's saying that if anything happens, he's with her. Man is young. Possibly younger than her. The sound effects you see are the phone vibrating. The messages are coming in one after another, and as you can see, she's not pleased by this, and she's not responding.

She's probably got some kind of stalker, and with the mention of her job, my guess is it's her boss using his position to keep harassing her, since she can't block him.

Never mind the obvious TL issues, it's not your job as a reader to notice those- did you not notice how she's clearly mortified and ignoring him? Not to mention the fact that he started contacting her right around th time she was going to tell her brother her problems.

The idea of a stalker apear out of place to me but the cheating theory works very well if we put on a timeline.

Scenario )
=>She cheats and the baby may or may not be from her husband .
=> Husband discovers and they have some sort of argument/separation(very recent!).
=> She retires with their mom while hiding the recent falling out with husband(and here we are).

The situation is clearly complex and we dont have a lot of info to paint this picture so lets clearly define some points:

• The person sending messages is NOT the husband so i will call "person A".
• The sister reply to the msgs are conflicted and not rejections so even if the relationship is devolving to a stalker-ish this was not the nature until very recently.
• She is being very avoidant about the topic of the husband.
• Person A appears be "open arms" about receiving her and anything that this entails.
• She deflects pretty generically for any prying on the topic of the husband

Maybe is just personal experience but i personally think that she is trying gain time and let things quiet down and continue with the husband sweeping this whole situation to under the rug,

Quick reminder that this is Japan. They are a meek people. One wouldn't expect anything less than subtle, non-confrontational answers in these situations to begin with. When you ask a girl out, and she turns you down, the answer isn't "断る" (I refuse), it might be something like ”ごめんなさい” (I'm sorry), or "それはちょっと..." (That's a little...). Hell, they're so opposed to conflict, the Chikan phenomenon exists. Hentai may exaggerate their passiveness by quite a bit, but it's based in some level of reality.

As for the husband, she was asked one question about him (Is he not coming?), and she gave a single answer (He's working). I'm not seeing what part of this constitutes a "Generic deflection for any prying". Like, even if "He's working" turns out to be a deflection, it's a single instance; not enough to establish a pattern.


Also, the TL for the messages is janked. Don't put too much stock in them.
