I don't think there's anything "occult" going on. Basically, the mother probably chose a guy that looked like her late husband (if they were even married to begin with). It's possible the mom can't even bear children anymore, so when she said she was glad her child was born a girl, it was because she can use her to try again. Hell, what if "papa" isn't even the biological dad, but an old boyfriend she was obsessed with.

They both are deeply in love with "Papa"(not hiroto). The mom said that she(the daughter) looks like "papa". From such statement and the things that have been going so far, we can assume that they're trying to make a replacement for "papa" (Which is currently gone, probably dead) by having the daughter bear a male child that hopefully carry the traits of "papa" from her.

At this point I wont be surprised that they are plotting to "bring back papa" by "reicarnating" him into a baby bear by the daughter, like some sort of antichrist.

I'm starting to see that the mother and daughter doesn't really care about hiroto and their real goal is to have a male child that looks a lot like the original papa either through the wife or the daughter

alot of people have some sub 100 iq takes. we arent going to suddenly get some kind occult or supernatural thing. what we have is actually just more of the same. there is no way to make a real good guess as to whats going to happen next based on all that we know. if the mc wasnt truly loved, or at least felt loved, by the girls then im sure it would be more of an issue. you dont date and eventually live with someone without basically knowing everything about them.
i type this every time but please remember there are years between when the MC meets the mom, to when MC meets the daughter, to when MC moves them in at the start of the story. were talking at least 5 years if not more, 5 years he has known the mom intimately and not a hint of anything weird.
i wont grasp at straws trying to come up with a definitive motive, aside from the obvious trying to get the dad to pregnant the daughter. the only real question i have at this point, is how the mom got the daughter on board? he meets the daughter when she is in middle school, and even then it was shown that the daughter is down for whoever the mom picks. thats really fucking strange a 15-17 year old girl has for years (before 12 i imagine) been wanting and willing to have a baby with a man the mother picks, and also the man would be in his 30s. remember everyone, the daughter is OBSESSED with the MC. i know it does happen where the daughter falls for the moms new man, but they planned this. a girl that cant be older than 11-13 wants in 5 or 10 years to have a baby specifically with whatever man her mom picks out for her. she seems so innocent, like when the mom tells her that the MC indeed now does want his own child. that was the pique of excitement, like her dream had come true.
to honest this story is driving me fucking crazy. i feel like its going to be one of those things where the author writes himself into a corner because he only started with the premise but didnt figure out the end. how can this possibly end with me going "wow best ending ever 10/10" i just dont see it happening. i wont stop though, i need to see this through. the author has a good start with his other manga too, i just hope he knows how to close out a story and give the reader that "holy shit what did i just read" feeling.

Did this just slip out? Was she speaking about her BioFather?

She was calling MC papa for some time when they were alone. She does something mental while mentioning Papa, her BioFather, which seems to have threw MC off (to me)

Someone had already answered this question but before then I had wondered if she was speaking about MC or either subconsciously/playfully leaking out that her BioFather isn’t or wasn’t her biological father?

I am embarrassed I didn’t notice this the first time around But I also noticed Touko framed that picture. Which made me question how MC never noticed it with his peripheral vision or his curiosity of if it was of Touko and her friend(s) or Touko and her previous father.
