There seems to be an implication that the mom was abused by her dad as a child, and she's romanticized it and wants her child to experience the same thing, possibly coupled with some sort of delusion that by making him do the same act, it will somehow channel the spirit of her, presumably deceased, father into him. Hence the title of the manga. The MC is not "Papa"ngl this whole being seduced by the kid thing makes so much less sense when the mom is already so hot plus satisfying his needs already
He knows it's weird, but (understandably) the thought of trying to talk to his wife about the fact that her daughter is hitting on him is intensely uncomfortable.Does this guy ever thought that his step daughter is very weird that he might need to investigate a bit about things?

It's the only thing saving him so far. Still, they're chipping away at that denseness, so Papa had better be careful...I can't believe how dense the mc is.
No one should be surprised by how people on the outside looking in can see things that are obvious red flags. He's not dense, he's in denial. He's emotionally involved and not seeing what an outsider sees.I can't believe how dense the mc is.
The implications is a few months, almost a year it feel, like she moved to from middle to HS was when hiroto married miyako, so at least 6 months. He knows it's weird, but (understandably) the thought of trying to talk to his wife about the fact that her daughter is hitting on him is intensely uncomfortable.
Plus how much time has actually passed in the manga itself? I think it might have only been a month or so, so he might be hoping she'll stop on her own if he just ignores it long enough. Especially since he hasn't seen nearly as many red flags as we have.
