ominous way to wake up from a dream like that lol, wonder if that was a representation of Majima's energy in Suzu's system or something else entirely... but enough about that, I'm hoping for a page of Majima feeding Suzu some sweets next chapter

thanks for the chapter! Glad someone picked this up

Ahhhhh, I'm so glad to see this picked up again, thank you very much! :glee:

Oh yikes, so Suzu isn't all better now, she'll still die if Majima isn't around.
Guess they'll have to become a permanent couple then!
I'm honestly a little confused about that. If that really is what's going on, then I feel like it's a pretty huge thing to drop out of nowhere? Maybe it's more like Majima has to keep doing magical checkups for the time being to make sure she did everything right, and repairing whatever mistakes she made the first time, but after long enough, Suzu will return to normal?

Currently I think it's too ambiguous; she mentions that it was her first time reforming a human, and that it was hard controlling her power in remaking Suzu.
Maybe that means when she reformed the bird, she didn't exert enough control, which effectively flubbed the reforming process that lead to the bird's death.

But in the present, she remarks that she'll have to keep feeding Suzu power - but she makes no mention of keeping watch of Suzu's condition.

She also mentions starving herself for "her" sake, ostensibly meaning Suzu. Since she got super hungry expending power to initially remake Suzu, those two things together seem to indicate this is now the status quo for them both if Suzu's going to continue sticking around, barring some future discovered workaround and/or fix.

But, guess we gotta see.

Thanks for picking this one back up! One of my favorite currently running horror yuri. Loved the second (third?) rugpull around Suzu's death, doomed yuri it is...

Also Suzu was LITERALLY bisected. If anything I’m surprised that we all thought she’d be fine without any side effects after that!

I hesitate to even call it that. There was no lower half to simply reattach; she was obliterated from her abdomen downward, and all of that had to be recreated wholesale, from scratch.

I would be unsurprised if Suzu required daily "power injections" like some kind of wind-up toy to keep her from literally coming apart at the seams.
