This story gives me two conflicting moods

• U-temo! I like the atmosphere of how they write failure, and it may even be yuri!
• Oh no the spirit-eater Jin is implied to be a serial killer. Might not be, if the writing is purposefully obtuse. I hope this isn't yuri! Suzu deserves nicer friends.

It could go either way but I look forward to the awkward mess. The momentum of the series isn't clear yet, other than heading into the dark and some very light mystery elements.

Alternatively she also seems like the kind of character who always just happens to be looking away at critical moments.

Which is a godsend if you're someone like Majima living in a world where people have relatively normal powers of observation.
