Translation was rough when it came to technicals. General dialogue was somewhat serviceable, but the technical discussion about city development was, frankly, a mess. Until the diagram and discussion of the defensive benefits, I couldn't follow how they were going to continue their development.

if the translator and proofreader are getting paid for this, the group are really scammed out, at times it sounds like MTL-ed, not only for this chapter, but for the whole batch uploads, i didn't don't remember the previous chapters are this bad

Sigh... please stop breaking the rules.
Normally it's just a minor annoyance... but the last page of this chapter is also a double page spread that should have been combined into a single page (as stated in the second half of the above rule). Normally it'd still be fine (assuming the pages were uploaded in the correct order), but your credits page changed the size of the second page so nothing lines up.

Gotta agree with the questions about the dip in translation quality. Well... maybe not translation itself as this might be a proofreader issue, but a lot of the dialogue is clumsy and doesn't sound correct to an English-speaking ear.
Like in Chapter 12.2 there's a line where one of the villagers says "You killed my parents! Now they are dead!" and "You took... A lot of peoples' lives in the village!"
The first one is redundant and the second one has that awkward pause that might be accurate when the sentence is in the Japanese syntax, but not in English. These are the sorts of things that a decent translator should catch unless they're kludging things together from mtl and/or are not native English speakers. And this is the thing that a proofreader should absolutely catch because if your proofreader isn't a native English speaker or at least extremely proficient then what the heck are they even doing with the gig.
I get it, people are going to say "you're reading this for free, what right do you have to complain?" but that's not the point. People are putting work into this either to sharpen their translating and writing skills (in which case this qualifies as necessary constructive criticism) or for the enjoyment of the story (in which case I would question how much the story is enjoyed if this is the effort level that results). Neither situation having this result is ideal and it should be addressed.

I do agree with you... that part, you killed my parents isn't even close even if they use MTL.

Google Translate = My parents died because of you
Sugoi Japanese Translator - Offline = My parents died because of you guys
DeepL = My parents are dead because of you
Reverso = Because of you, my parents died
With these different online and offline translators, there should be no reason for the horrible translation.
even the どれだけ家族を奪われたと思ってるんだ of the second line above comes out too...
Google Translate = How many family members do you think were taken away from you?
Sugoi = How many families do you think have been taken from you?
DeepL = How many families do you think were taken from us?
Reverso = How much do you think my family has been taken away (I dont use reverso, just the worse of the online translators)
The Sugoi translator offlne is used with Sugoi Manga OCR which is part of Visual Novel OCR on discord. if you google search Sugoi Toolkit V4.0 then you should be able to come across the program...
Sorry for the plug, but if who ever translated chapter 12, then they should at least upgrade to something better.

The TL group is called "Manhwa Freak" so I'm starting to wonder if maybe some of the janky translation is the result of going from Japanese to Korean to English and losing a lot of detail in the double-switch. Like a photocopy of a photocopy.

that said, even if we just sort of shrug at shonky translating, this is where having a good proofreader should pick up the slack. Because someone who can understand English should be able to take any of those 4 translation options you give and turn the lines into something like:
1) "It's your fault my parents are dead!"
2) "How many of us have lost family because of you?" (I'm not 100% on this, but I was trying to keep it short because of what I'm about to note. With unlimited space a better sentence would be "Do you know how many of us have lost family because of you?")
Obviously the issue would still be typesetting those translations in the space provided, but again someone with competent English skills should be able to fudge the final translation/proofread products enough to fit in the space provided.
