Honestly, the bikini she actually wears is a bit more jarring to me. Not accounting for the drawing quality of a small child's white-out attempt (with black in that case) that is this censoring. They did actually have reasonably similar underwear as we have today, although without the same stretchy fabric, they could achieve a good fit with drawstrings or similar.

Though it could use some work, at least the translation output isn't on the level of mangaeffect.

Speaking of which, mangaeffect is producing an uncensored version, but it's mangaeffect. On top of the translation quality, they emblazon their own logo in big fonts and bright colors across the pages.

Never heard of mangaeffect nor am I aware of their level of quality, but I checked out some of their releases (namely 16.1 and on-wards) and they, indeed, aren't censored.

And, while the translation is probably horribly inaccurate, from what I did read it was actually understandable English for most of it instead of the earlier dogshit-tier translating we saw from ManhwaFreak.

So... As bad as mangaeffect might have been in the past, at least as far as this series is concerned, some weird unknown manga aggregator that watermarks and slaps shit all over their releases and uses a weird compressed typesetting/image ratio... is actually still a better source fan translations than ManhwaFreak is.

Well, most of the time scanlators(that won't buy raws) get their raws on rawkuma, especially on popular JP titles(they are really up to date). Also, if you google search via JP title of this manga, it's actually front page of the results, it's just that you really need to be up to date in scouring the title, since most them only display the latest chapters and it's not even free most of the time

I'm not going to drop this but at this point they may as well just place a giant black box over the character any time she is on screen. Would be less annoying than the annoyingly obvious censorship that they are lying about "needing". Heck they can't even make the white-out the same color as the page so it stands out even more most of the time.

No that would be much much worse. There's a manga that actually does that and it looks like they just took a box cutter to the page.

I remember an anime where a girl got reincarnated in a medieval era. She tried wearing a bathing suit at the beach and everyone looked in a very not so accepting way, covering their kids eyes and all. It’d be the same as walking naked in public, since people were more conservative.
