Last hit gets credit for the kill? I guess this world follows MOBA game rules?

Technically all the ballista personnel got that title too, but yes, dee indeed did get that title for aiding in slaying a dragon.
Most likely, the shield ppl, and even the lord himself, got the same title, even if they never landed a blow by themselves. Because they still were instrumental.
In a typical dragon slaying expedition in this world, would all the support personnel like porters, sponsors, chefs, etc. really get that same title? Feels doubtful to me.

Im honestly surprised they keep scanning this when all the comments bash them for their work lol. Someone on staff must really like the series or something. Personally? I think censoring a series is good cause to justify sniping a series, if only other series snipers who race to post only a day early would snipe this instead. Unfortunately doesnt seem so. So.... thanks for the scans.

The porters, sure. They are smackdab in the line of fire.
I never advocated for giving the title to sponsors, chefs, etc though. Only the ones that did the deed (like the porters, commanders, swordchoppers, ballista reloaders, ballista aimers, ballista releasers, strategists, decoys, trappers (well, not trappers if they aren't the kind that have to be manually triggered), etc.

What about messangers and scribes? Your comment basically just reminded me of the fantasy postman manga that kinda explored these stuff; interesting to think about how things should be vs how things would likely be

Let's put this into a simple criteria: "Are they at risk of death by dragon, while actively contributing to its death?" If the answer is yes, then imo. they are a dragon slayer when it dies.

No, it deciding to nope out and accidentally fly to their city, or an errant fireball flying kilometers to an unrelated village they live in, doesn't count (or lobbed over city-wall to hit their villa). But if there is something the dragon can track, and giving it reason to ignore the rest to pursue you in particular, then sure. Similarly if the risk of stray fire is large because they are inadvisably close to the dragon, even if they have no reason to be targeted (ie. stealth builds).
Also an exception for the strategist if their strategy is the sole reason it could be subjugated (ie. the anime genius kind where everything goes according to keikaku), or buffers who likewise was instrumental even if absent (but not crafters! Swords can be gotten anywhere, and they never even met their clients; exception if it's custom, instrumental, one-of-a-kind gear though).
