That could be, since it seems it occurs more often in big breast, but it has the same problem as the previous post, the breast have to be engorged or swelled, if lymphedema is not present then there's nothing to reliefBreasts get swollen due to hormonal changes, not only lactation. Even the menstrual cycle does it and for obvious reason it is particularly notable in pregnancy.

"Breast swelling (lymphedema) often occurs during pregnancy and lactation, and lymphatic massage is particularly effective to relieve lymphedema."
And it also has an additional problem, for lymphedema the lymph are being recycled into other working lymph vessels so that they can keep circulating on the lymphatic system, it is not an accumulation of waste product that has to get rid out
