As someone that have streamed in the past and used a ready made vtuber model for a few streams just for fun, seeing the lack of equipment is to funny in streaming and vtuber mangas. Especially since vtuber mangas seem to think that fully body capture is a thing with just a cam and don't need mocap lol that also works with 2d models by some miracle

Guess the authors isn't really vtuber fans just jumping on a fad.
