If she was just calling her master to be kinky it would be fine. The way she has a panic attack when she even thinks about going against what Flum said, even if they both know that Flum would actually be really happy for her to do that, is what makes it a problem.

I actually kind of love the way Milkit's trauma is portrayed here. It's only to be expected from someone who has suffered through what she has that she struggles against distancing herself from concepts like master and slave. The fact this is clearly a bad thing and impediment to their relationship makes this story 100 times better than most other stories of its ilk who could really use a visit from ol' John Brown.

i wouldnt call it love, but that she feels some form of affection for Flum and is so abused that anything besides submission is impossible for her to identify, express, and not be afraid of. as it currently is Milkit idolizes Flum

the first series ive read where i would describe the main character as actually being in proper Romantic/True Love with their love interest is actually "The Otome Heroine's Fight for Survival" where Aria and Elena clearly want to belong to eachother and be with eachother even facing the end of days but where their skills, education, obligations, capabilities, and most importantly Arya's wish drive them apart.
