Changing the name is enough reason to not trust it, just because it's readable and seems fine doesn't mean it's correct, I trust @Raeisalive translation infinitely more than official translation with stupid changes.

It's out on the "Webcomics" app. It keeps the character names, so it's probably a more faithful translation (though the title isn't - it's listed as "All I am to Her").

Besides the names it's fine, but everyone has to make their own choices.

Changing the names is disrespecting the author and no different from those channels that use AI pics and making changes until the original is unrecognizable

I don't agree that it's disrespecting anything, and we do not know how each author feels about the names being changed. They are not a monolith. Many authors in other creative or literary spaces understand the need to localize names in new languages. It's not a new practice (for a reason), and not one that everyone has an issue with. Even some who do have issues understand why it often helps. Many times, localizing names helps visibility for a series, and the author can benefit from that.

Otherwise, I don't have a strong feeling either way. Personally, I would have no issue with one of my stories having names changed. It is more often an issue when the names have a strong thematic purpose. In that case, they can be kept the same or find similar versions that work for the new language. It's also fine to keep names the same. I just don't think these decisions are about disrespect or that there is some kind of consensus.

As a chinese, we place more emphasis for naming children. Some might take inspiration from poems or place unfulfilled expectations onto their child.

Why else would some novels go that far for the protagonist to explain each character in their name or having CP names to take 1-2 characters from both individuals?

It's like how the Romans insisted on giving new names to Greek gods

Why else would both source and manhwa readers have a fit over the trailer for Solo Leveling (a korea work) having Japanese localized names just because a Japanese studio is in-charge for making the anime adaptation?

Judging by your logic, we might as well rebrand everything else to erase the roots and make it even harder to trace the source of each product.
