yea, I do pity her for that to a certain extent, but just the poor guy. you can't help but feel like he's being toyed with. I know she doesn't mean it that way and it's hard on her, but still, it's hard on him, too. I understand this is just manga, but if it were reality I'd hope that at a certain point her friends/family would step in and mediate an explanation before things got too far.

Communication issues don’t excuse the lack of respect he’s being shown here. All this deception that she’s easily getting away with is going to erase any trust he had in both her “Sonada” and “Noda” personas, at least that’s what would happen if he has any self respect at all (He probably doesn’t).

She lied every time they met both at work and on dates. How could he trust her explanation even if she came clean and told him everything?

She has her verified communication issues. It's not like she wants to be rude (she just is due to her issues), but she's stuck to the role she assumed to be able to meet him outside of work in the first place. She would know this can't go on forever, but good ol' fear would keep her from taking the final step. She must still be thinking Itami would never want to date the Sonoda he knows from work.

she's like 30, be serious. if you reach that age with such issues either seek profesional help, or any kind of help, or recluse yourself from society, you are an annoyance.
