I see the similarities. While she is a bit like Mahiru he really doesn't have the issues Amane does and seems to be much more perceptive and pro active.

We have the MC and the FMC on one side, and then the MC of a different story and his two FMCs on the other side.

This is all highly convenient for Arisa. She's not that comfortable back home. While she's not abused, it's still quite clear she's just a political tool for the step-parents, not a genuine family member, so her life has been abnormal. However, she feels more relaxed at Yuzuru's place because there are no expectations (they agreed on their relationship being fake), yet he treats her well and praises her cooking and other efforts (like her gaming skills), and even told her to be honest and straightforward in expressing her feelings, which is something she could never afford to do before, in any company. Futhermore, ironically her step-parents actually are glad to send her over, believing it will cement her marriage with the Takasegawa clan. So, it's a real win-win situation for her.
