They changed Kim Dokja's last words, in the web novel, it was "Let's meet again, Yoo Joonghyuk", they've been changed to "Live on, Yoo Joonghyuk", which is a recall to Joonghyuk's words when he said "Live on, Kim Dokja", but to be honest, "Let's meet again" felt far more personal than "Live on", so it kinda icks me.

Also, They really tried their best to remove the homoerotic overtones from the manwha, especially considering how much they toned down Yoo Joonghyuk's desperation in this situation, this scene was the first time Yoo Joonghyuk showed any reaction to the death of his companions, so this scene meant a lot in the novel. But the Manhwa keeps trying to show him extremely expressionless and an edgelord.

eyy personally I liked this one more. Let's meet again felt too generic and foreshadowed a return too much. Death is frequently interpreted as impermanent in the series and the deviation from Kim Dokja's omniscience seems more refreshing.

It wasn't just about that though tbf. The webtoon cut out a LOT of lines regarding Yoo Joonghyuk and the rest of the party's feelings (outside of the kids). One of the most impactful lines is

ad I'm definitely disappointed that it was left out. I feel like they leaned too hard into the "emotionless cool mc" archetype when Yoo Joonghyuk was in fact devastated.
