The executioner is a cool looking dude.

Though, for how tall he was that the door was like half his height, convenient for him that the actual inside of the tavern apparently has such a high roof. Would've been funny if he had to crawl around inside because he's so damn large.

I still don’t get why people can’t recognise his face. Is it because he’s a reader or is it because of the forth wall?

It has been heavily hinted that his face has always been blurred to everyone due to fourth wall trying to protect his existence, that's why the people who existed in the world before the fall can see his actual face, and the on people who can actually see his face despite being characters are Yoo Joonghyuk and Shin Yoosung (his adoptive daughter).

No one can see his actual face that's why he earned the Moniker, "Ugly King" despite having an attractive face.

If you mean the people in the tavern here, as Dokja mentions, Bihyung edited the broadcast to give him a different face. You can see it in the closeup too, Dokja's eyes are much different / more plain in the broadcast, so people who've only seen him via the channel will have only seen Bihyung-edited Dokja.

Wait... can you even be a king and a revolutionary? Are you revolting against yourself?
Though he has the title of a demon king, he has yet to claim the throne.

He's revolting against the current rulers, who by title do not deserve the throne.

Think of it as Dokja being 7th in line in a royal succession. Through his experience, merits, and knowledge of his domain/kingdom, he earned the right to properly inherit the throne. As opposed to his older siblings, who wasted away in debauchery, fighting each other in power struggles, and abusing their authority losing favor in the eyes of the people and other world leaders.

So yes, he can revolt against current powers, even with his title as a king.

I hope I worded this correctly
