I think it's one of the bits and pieces he Lamarck-ed to survive in the realm

His Fables were stitched together with other bits and parts of other Fables to form a new complete Incarnation body, but he's still outside of the Scenario and not completely stabilized yet. Meaning he is not out of the woods.

Like obviously the author had to come up with something to make this a believably survivable encounter. But it also goes to explain why he's so obsessed with becoming the Revolutionary, without expressly telling us. He needs to be a part of a Narrative. The Revolutionary was just his quickest way in, via the 'Self-Proclaimed' route. While simultaneously taking advantage of his 'not being in the narrative' qualities. It feels like a move someone who is genuinely intelligent and understands the narrative of the story works, would genuinely do.

It hits that sweetspot of 'respect the audience's intelligence enough to pick up these clues', and 'dumbed down enough to be able to be obviously picked up, without disrespecting the audience'

There are a lot of things in this series which "may" seem like Deus Ex Machina, a straight ass pull even, but when you see how well stitched it is with the story, you'll get to see the genius of it. The best thing about it is how the seeds of plot points are sowed 100 of chapters ago just so it can be used as a "hack" without even disrupting the flow. Absolutely love this manhwa.

I understood the "becoming the Revolutionary" bit was what was needed (or had happened) in the original novel's progression by Yoo, and we know that he was suffering (both as a fable and as debuff) from being outside the scenario; the "Self-proclaimed" bit seems to me a half-improvisation or gamble in order to get some headway towards the goal of obtaining the real title, which to me makes sense: goal, attempted solution

To think that this guy always make it out in every situations. Why not just once or twice struggled him? That's what I thought for reading this manga til now 😂 at least once or twice u encounter something that u just CAN'T handle. Just sayin... ✌️
