Fable or Story work well with regards to this story and how the term is used in context of future arcs.

Just take care to stick to one once you choose cause alternating will make it confusing (bc of the meta-aspect, a “Fable” / “Story” in this story doesn’t just denote the word “story”).

I would not recommend “Narrative” as it makes in confusing (because sentences like this can occur: “this story has a narrative”)

Its more a complaint from novel readers who had *every* word changed on them around chapter 350. Which is fucking obnoxious cuz its not just "Story" vs "Fable", it was all the characters getting arbitrary respellings. Absolute worst decision by a new translator to change all the names.

They did it with Tower of God with Rachel but did it so early most people won't remember what her original translation was by The Company (I believe it was Lahel). Even back then it felt weird.
