For a while now, I've been searching for a manga. It's hard to find it because it's nothing special. It follows the classic trope: a fantasy world with social classes.
MC is a noble who didn't get any class at baptism and thus was banished from the family. Along the way, he finds out he can learn any skill/spell he is attacked with.
After traveling for a while, he joins the knight selection trial, where the royal princess scouts him out as a personal guard.
Does he have a childhood friend with whom he dreams of becoming a knight? This part is a bit fuzzy.
MC also has an older brother who is the pride of the family and who, of course, gets defeated and humiliated by the MC when he loses the duel.
