Sooo, he is interested in her, mainly because she lasted under him for so long(+she's cute), he can't fathom what poverty is and while he believes he is justified for doing that, he does understand (or will very soon) that he did something awful to her....

Alright, let me guess. They will be put on more situations where they need to fake it and this will pile up his regrets while he learns how strong she is and starts to admire her and she will start to notice he is, in fact, quite kind and caring, albeit very awkward with how he shows it. Onto that we add a love rival (for each?) so they can suspect what they feel for each other could be love and some drama on his side so that they can be vunerable around each other and start to admit their feelings. All of it while playing around with the power dinamycs of her dominating on private and him getting revenge on public.
