Neither English version is far enough along to judge the plot but I love Chloe's attitude (and design). The FL's sisterly responsibility and core values, and even her being petty within the clear limits of driving a point home, is sort of ideal for an officer, but otherwise ignoble. The ML's arrogance looks utterly pathetic next to that, to the point it's almost unrealistic he's had such a successful career. War isn't politics, at worst it's a team sport, but warfighting is a superpower in fiction I guess.
That aside this does military culture and personalities slightly better than average. 'Military' isn't just a coat of paint on the plot, there's at least a minimum degree of research or experiences present. (Korean military flavor obviously)
It's a nice start and I don't hate the ML beyond rehabilitating him, he's just a lot shallower of a character so far. "Competent" isn't a personality ffs. Except for him/anyone being saved by luck, an insane man isn't supposed to get therapy via his partner lol
