"Right when I felt like apologizing". Fuck you. You caused her to be like that. This mentality screams so much entitlement. You aren't owed forgiveness just because you want to say sorry now. That's up to the victim and I don't like how they want to force her to go and accept whatever crap Sugawa wants to say. It makes it seem like he's doing it for Sugawa instead of her. Still the worst part was MC telling Kitahara that he has someone he cares about. When she asked "is it a girl?" He should've responded with "yeah, it's the person who drove you to be a shut in". Wondered how that would have went.

Yo i kinda forgot, did sugawa ever apologize? I dont dig her getting a happy end after almost ruining a life this easily
I think we're made to believe she did it in the party we never saw.
I guess there was a lot of stuff we have to assume happened, because later we see she also went to the 10 year reunion. So she still was ok with hanging with them all that time later.

Also, I am indeed very conflicted about her being the final heroine after being who started all this. But just so we're fair, she wasn't who made her a shut in (not saying you said that. It was another comment), she certainly started it, but playing strong devil's advocate even though she didn't apologize (until presumably the party in this chapter) she stopped doing it and focused on her studies, and before that she was doing softer stuff after our MC did what he did to her too, and who kept doing that was another group.
She definitely still had some blame over it because she and her group helped make her that meek, tho. Don't get me wrong on that. But, our MC also did that thing to Sugawa, and somehow she still ends up liking him? And after she sent those thugs to beat him up in retaliation too, he still likes her.
So it's more of a "We're all gonna have to be working on being better people. And maybe we're with who understands better how much guilt we should be carrying", and that's how i'm justifying it.

Five suicide attempts in SIX MONTHS, and mother doesn't know what to do. Mother of the year.

Sugawa is mad that Kitahara doesn't want to know about her, but on the other hand it was her idea to get her to the reunion. Tsundare mentality is annoying.

Kurosawa somehow managed to bring Kitahara out of home to the reunion, looks like they apologised for years of bullying and it somehow worked.

Kitahara seems like had some feeling towards Kurosawa, him talking about having someone and that someone was her bully. Yikes.

Well at least Kitahara is magically back on her feet, so I'm happy.

Dunno really what the author was taking while making 4th volume, but I'll bet it's highly illegal.

That was nice. The whole point wasn't "nothing good happened to me" it was that "It was all so bad but it doesn't have to still be bad". I had to keep reminding myself that they're in middle school, the idiotic bullying, the dumb sexual thoughts, and the general indifference, at some point in your life you can reminisce about them and just laugh it off. Kurosawa never escaped the "Onani Master" title and he probably never will be, but because he has changed so much as a person they can all just tease and laugh about it like it's nothing.

This could of been an amazing chapter. I really like how Kithara is finally back in her feet seemingly much better. But the way it was written just irks me in some way. Her suicide attempts, the bullies having shown no repercussions dealt with them and finally kurosawa having a romantic relationship with one of the girls that severly bullied kitahara?? I guess it makes sense since he's still recovering from being an asshole.

I really REALLY wanted to cry at this chapter but it could of been written so much better. It could of been like a 10/10 chapter. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed this chapter even with it's imperfections

Well said my guy in the end, it's a hope to become a better person that matter most
