Unless the victim turned into ash right after it means she wasn't a vampire.
Murderer was probably a paranoid skizo, the visuals of the victim could be throught the girl point of view.
I don't rememebr what manga had the ocnversation with MC and a vampire talking about vampires weak points and that anybody would die with a stake though their chest, maybe the one with the MC that couldn't lie to save his life and the green haired heroine? Jitsu something.

Jistu wa or actually I'm a... or my monster secret, is what I think you're referring too. Don't remember the specific scene, been to long.

Anyway, though the specific example is obvious and dumb, this sort of logic is common but still wrong. One example would be if government programs or printing money than inflation. Very much false, any mobilization of a resource that can't currently be used through a grant or a program actually brings that resource back into the economy. People also don't have a tracker on how much money exists in the first place so prices can't be adjusted based on that.

A more accurate one and one more like this chapter is if supply chain disruption than inflation, as has historically always happened after a supply chain disruption, since no matter how much money there is you can't buy what isn't there but people certainly try. However, this also isn't an iff situation since inflation can happen for other reason. Prices can be raised simply because there's talk about inflation, since the assumption that its already happening gives businesses room to increase their prices. Awhile back, the price of eggs shot up but it was found there was no decrease in supply or damage to their supply chain, atleast not proportionally. However, since the price of other things had already gone up, they tried to increase it to whatever the market will bear.

And I think this proves that I'm getting bored with this comic...
