You know what sucks? Finding a new fixation in imikowa stories (which this manga is), finding this manga, and then seeing a bunch of people lambasting it much like they do Yamishibai because their standards are different from JP people.
You are the exact type of people to yell at others for not agreeing with JP sensibilities on Twitter. You are just like them, calling what they consider to be good entertainment awful.
I actually had a good time reading these. I was excited to read a bunch of imikowa stories, and was fooled by the idea of over 200 instances being translated. No, it isn’t that they’ve translated ALL of them, it’s that one translator loyally translated up until a certain point, and another picked up where they reasonably could because they didn’t have any scans of the other pages.
That’s fair enough, and I’m not upset at them for not being able to translate more. I just really wish somebody could translate more. I had a fun time reading these! It seems that unlike Yamishibai’s producers, who make more for the sake of it, translations could peter out from backlash as harsh as yours.
Thanks for the rec for Saya in Underworld! I’ll be sure to check it out to wet my palate while waiting for a more full translation!
