Well, that train of thought is where you're wrong. Too long to explain, so maybe using the "mature" filter would give you more desirable results?

Not really. I keep mature turned off. Good things like this can still get a pass with the erotica rating showing a lot more. But when I'm scrolling new manga in 'Latest Release' and I click on something new I initially like but then find out it's just worthless GL slop, it might as well have something worthwhile.

The suggestive/erotica/mature rating is just by MangaDex standards and pretty much useless for many purposes. Add the fact that anthologies have a mix of different level authors and these ones are short one-shots. So far this is not a great anthology, but that series you linked has a pretty clear audience (and different from this one).
