The Giants of Eblaf or S.H. Grandfleet?Any bets who or what is coming to the rescue?
Kizaru is conflicted over hurting a close friend on orders from on high.On another note, I'm not sure why Sanji left Vegapunk by himself in the first place, nor do I get why Saturn and Kizaru hadn't immediately killed him.
If you have to look along the shaft of an arrow from the wrong end, if a man has you entirely at his mercy, then hope like hell that man is an evil man. Because the evil like power, power over people, and they want to see you in fear. They want you to know you're going to die. So they'll talk. They'll gloat. They'll watch you squirm. They'll put off the moment of murder like another man will put off a good cigar. So hope like hell your captor is an evil man. A good man will kill you with hardly a word."
Honestly, that's an apt description.Saturn's an evil man. To quote the Maestro Terry Pratchett, from Men at Arms
Indeed. Pratchett further demonstrates that quote byHonestly, that's an apt description.
But in a reverse, Satan (Imu and the Elders) is trying to keep knowledge from humanity to allow his falsehoods rule the world, and the truth comes in part from Luffy's fruit.oh hey, I just realized that the plot right now can more or less fit to the story of Heaven with Adam and Eve- or at least echo some aspects of it: Vegapunk created the replicas of Kuma(creation of man), and researched the history of the lost century (had a taste of the forbidden fruit of knowledge, and his fruit is the Nomi Nomi fruit).
Not to mention that Lilith was Adam's first wife (though not in the cannon hebrew text).
I realized that Kuma represents Jesus, but didn't connect the dots till this chapter lol.
Hmm, Luffy possess the sun god's power (Nika). But in a reverse, Satan (Imu and the Elders) is trying to keep knowledge from humanity to allow his falsehoods rule the world, and the truth comes in part from Luffy's fruit.
So, I think Luffy is the Jesus figure. There are other martyrs Kuma could be referencing.
