They wouldn't be part of the main crew. We see Shanks has a lot of low power crews under his flag he protects ferociously. Nami and Ussopp would be relegated to a lower tier crew then.

? The three of them are part of main crew, they just grouped as the weaker fighter among main crew but even then that might not necessarily be true with Nami having Zeus and Usopp likely will get something in this arc.

Except Ussop and especially Nami can punch far above their weight. They still can't fare well in a straight fight vs Emperor's lieutenant/high ranking Marines, but as support group to the main heavy hitters they can cause massive headaches even for Vice-Admiral level (or even Admiral if the whole crew are ganging up on them)

I was agreeing with the idea if such a fall could kill them, they weren't worthy of being on the Emperor's main crew. If they couldn't survive such a fall, then they would be relegated to a weaker crew but still under the banner of the Straw Hats.
