It was long, but we're finally back to Harald again.

This chapter is quite tragic:
Xebec actually could survive but he ended up killed when he is powerless.
Dragon and Garp has a rift between them where Dragon see the injustice and quit marines while Garp want to protect the few good people that still in marines and their ideals. Sengoku seems implied he still manage to retain some conscience due to Garp presence.
The Gallelia Xebec mentioned is interesting. I assume they take part during Joyboy war.
Harald might look pathetic at the end (reminds me with how Oden forced to dance in undies), but I think he also motivated due to his friend death Xebec, so at this point he just throw any kind of shame so long as his goal can get accomplished.

I am shocked after God's Valley, Dragon didn't go for the armed conflict right away. It took 18 years until they nuked Robin's home town to push him to that point.

I know the signs are pointing to Blackbeard being the one to inherit his father's will (as twisted as it may have become in Teach's hands) but I truly hope Loki gets to absolutely obliterate at least one God's Knight after this flashback for Rocks' sake (and Harald's too after how the rest of this flashback might go)

...I still wish Rocks got to go out with a smile but his last moments being him thanking Roger and Garp hit me pretty hard too, I will miss him dearly after this flashback

Garp's talk with Dragon probably went as well as it could've, all things considered. Garp getting chewed out by Dragon while giving him the key to his cell brought me back to Dadan beating the shit out of him after Ace's death. I don't care for Garp's reasoning on staying in the marines after everything but I guess I can at least respect that he is consistent in his ideals, as frustrating as they are to read through at times

Harald just keeps fucking up. I get he wants to make things better and change the view of his race. But the way he has gone about it is so much worse in the long run and it's even worse because he knows the WG is not good.

Garp acting like you can change things from within. That's not possible and has never succeeded. When something becomes so corrupt, it's beyond fixing. Dragon has the right idea... Just wish we saw him act more.

Wish Jarul and Ida tried (or tried harder) to tell Harald that he learned the complete opposite lesson from Rocks' death. But well, then again informations about God's Valley were manipulated.
