Not gonna lie, as incredible it was to see Loki's full form (and it certainly is); Sommers deranged attitude really had my attention. At this point, you can count on two things with him; either Sommers screwing things up, or Sommers showing how deranged and twisted he is. Then sometimes you'll see both.

That said, a good chapter to show familial love and the actual beginning of a counterattack now that Luffy and Loki entered the fray. Also, Shamrock is pretty lucky to not be at Elbaph right now...

i like title too. Whitebeard was the strongest man, Kaido was the strongest creature, now Loki strongest... thing. edit: ive seen some comments that "strongest thing" probably actually means the love between parent/family and child and honestly i like it even more now

The size makes me want to say Jormungundr, but that's supposed to be a sea serpent.

I hope Sommers gets what he deserves. It's already been established that Loki can kill immortals, and nobody would deserve it more.

alright my bad Sommers, expert job turning what should've been a blunder into an opportunity to show that you're the worst

the walk off moment was so good tho, really felt like the culmination of what Harald wanted for Elbaph in a way that compliments the last few chapters of the giants rallying to fight. Having the strength to fight is great but having the strength to bring even a little comfort to terrified children is real impressive in its own right, and Luffy and Loki saving them in the end shows that cultivating that strength wasn't a waste

now I just need Luffy and crew to beat the shit out of these knights for a few chapters lol

I dunno, looks more like Fenrir to me, especially with those claws he showed off earlier.

I hope Sommers gets what he deserves. It's already been established that Loki can kill immortals, and nobody would deserve it more.

It's Nidhoggr. It's supposedly gnawing on the roots of the tree.

I dunno, looks more like Fenrir to me, especially with those claws he showed off earlier.

I'm fairly sure it's the same creature as one of the dream monsters - Nidhoggr.

Which would be a representation of the Norse dragon Nidhogg, trapped in Yggdrasil's roots, gnawing at them - a squirrel bringing it messages from the top of the tree.

Can't help but thinking Oda's referencing the tragedies happened in our world. We often heard that kind of stories and Oda loves referencing to real world issue such as racism in FI arc for example.

A bit of a weak chapter for once. Oda is usually good at unexpected turns but I saw it fom a mile away how the kids will be caught mid air by Loki. It was still cool though.

i want to see Sommer die early (maybe Loki will eat him, that'd be hilarious) or at the end of this arc (maybe Imu will strip off his immortality like he did Saturn). as long as it means i won't be seeing his ugly mug in future arcs, i'd be happy either way
