Honestly... This chapter had me a bit baffled at first and even a bit confused. But after reading it again, and thinking it over a bit, I think it's pretty good!

For starters, it was nice to have Jinbei do something, and Sanji delivering righteous justice on Killingham was satisfying. However, I'm glad to see some Franky development, as it was always impressive about his strengths when he was running on just cola... Having Lilith gift him a device capable of converting energy into highly potent cola was great for a boost Franky, as I always felt a tad disappointed that Franky didn't have more chances of interacting with Vegapunk, considering he had upgraded himself based on Vegapunk's technology.

So reversing Imu's Domi Reversi technique requires killing the target enough times for the effect to end, in which they're revived cured and without any injury that happened prior to it. Overall a great chapter!

If fatal damage turns them normal, why did Xebec and Harald have to die?
In the case of Rocks, he didn't have to actually. In fact, he was pretty much cured, however Garling had finished him off as he was in a weakened state. At first I was confused about Dory and Brogy being fine while Rocks was in a weakened state, but then I remembered that Rocks was using a lot of Conquerer's Haki while he was transformed, however, I don't recall Dory or Brogy using any, and thus they'd be fine in that regard. After all, using too much haki can be fatal if the user don't properly recover it.

In Harald's however, the situation is a bit different. He wasn't exactly under the Domi Reversi technique, but actually under the influence of Imu's covenant, and a high grade one at that. Meaning that he'd always be under Imu's control apparently, so killing him was the only option available at the time.

nice to see the contrast of fishman island Sanji berating Jinbei for Arlong's actions, and now him defending his honor

pretty cool to see Franky get an upgrade directly from his idol, i hope he gets new move set aside from spamming radical beam...

idk how Brogy still gripping that shield, cause when they turned back he was still missing his hand

Pray to the Sun!
Pray to the Sun!

That song was in my head at Broggy and Dorry's sacrifice.

Imu did it. His healing the arm was retained.

Nvm, I saw pg 18. He still has the stump arm.

While it didn't do physical damage to the captains, they still seem a bit exhausted by the experience, so it probably drains your stamina like normal.

Xebec had been fighting the entire day prior to being turned, solo beating the immortal holy knights so badly they could barely get up and then when turned he had to fight even more.

Remember he wasn't killed by Garp and Roger, but the holy knights after the fight. He was at that point probably just too exhausted.

I forgot that Franky's time skip power-up was literally all based on Vegapunk's designs which makes sense that Lilith would be able to power him up even more.

okay, when Loki broke through Harald's immortality, we saw Imu also suffer some backlash. i wonder if reversing Domi Reversi would also deal some damage to them? if it's not, at the very least, i hope one of the knight (preferably Sommers) ends up dead by the end of this arc. deeper the covenant, stronger the backlash, right?
