pretty sure bofoi isn't being controlled at all. he's just straight jacked in the head. which makes sense since he's more than likely not human anymore if he ever even was one to begin with. not to mention that at a certain level of intelligence it becomes increasingly harder to associate with human society. he's probably reached a level of intelligence where he views everyone far beneath himself.

I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop, where we find out that Bofoi and Kuseno were both bots made by the same guy.

Tbf dude is pretty busy most the time. He works on the One Punch Manga, I assume he's also helping with the anime coming out in the future. He also is writing for another manga called VERSUS (highly recommend btw). I believe there may even be a third manga he's helping with but I could be wrong about that. Work probably trumps a hobby and dude works a lot lol.

Bofoi knows more about whats going on than pretty much anyone else in the series. He's going to be a massive exposition dump soon. His current erratic behavior may be due to whatever he knows that everyone else doesn't. It seems like he's modified himself in to being a robot, or maybe he's already dead and this is an AI left to imitate his consciousness. Either way, its possible he's taking a very AI-like approach to "justice" where all means justify the ends.

I hope we're actually gonna get more chapters soon, because it feels like we're getting close to some real answers.

I'm guessing that the real Bofoi is already dead and this Bofoi is just an AI he made and is given a tasked, but somehow went on a different way.
