Tbf dude is pretty busy most the time. He works on the One Punch Manga, I assume he's also helping with the anime coming out in the future. He also is writing for another manga called VERSUS (highly recommend btw). I believe there may even be a third manga he's helping with but I could be wrong about that. Work probably trumps a hobby and dude works a lot lol.

you realize murata was also on break for the majority of these last 9 months right? i've never heard of versus, is it on here? as for the anime, have they even started production yet? usually with seasonal anime production only starts about 2 or so months before the first episode is set to air. and it's even worse at mappa since they don't start until nearly the last minute because their animators are swamped working on like 10 different projects at a time. it's why i never support the seasonal anime format. lot's of people have this misunderstanding that seasonal anime get more time to get made but in reality they have the least amount of time with the least amount of consistency in staff.

edit: i just checked 2 of his other works, versus and bug ego, neither have been worked on all year.

i just checked both of these and versus hasn't been touched since 2022 and bug ego hasn't been touched since nearly a year now. he may really just have been sitting down chilling this whole time.

You checked the fan translation, not the raws or official english that doesn't appear here, Ego just released the third chapter and announced the continuous update from now on and Versus released chapter 20 earlier this month but you seen hell bend on thinking that the man is lazy and you know the anime industry inside out as well even thought the OPM anime is coming soon too, so whatever.

nah i checked the raw but i did make a mistake. bug ego has only just been updated for the first time since the start of the year. and i admit i was wrong about versus entirely since it's been getting updated once a month. i apologize for that mistake.

Then all is cool, you should really REALLY check VERSUS if you're hungry for something similar to opm, is not updated here but in other sites you can find it and the official english too... and also in spanish.

I'm either too naive or too skeptic, I don't see malice in Bofoi, just assholeness. He is probably trying to protect Child Emperor in a way, just as he advised C.E to do so with his friends.
That said, I still have no clue about the whole mystery. Everyone's too suspicious to the point of anything being a possible red herring. I certainly didn't expect this sort of story in OPM.
And wow, I feel bad for C.E., I wasn't much fond of him until now, but seeing him breaking down from all this stress is very sympathetic.

I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up having good intentions but he either can't or won't spell them out clearly for one reason of another.

One reason being a literal god-like higher dimensional malicious entity acting in the background, just mentioning it seems hazardous. (Though the last time we saw that being attempted was from one under contract.)
