Acceptance and maturity, ideally. Accept that the adaptation is different and love it for those differences. The true sign of a well-adjusted adult.
of course they just need to try to laugh at it and enjoy it! this will help them understand that it's good and they love it!

Alright, I keep seeing this and I kinda don't want to trace back for redrawn stories. What the hell happened with the murata manga redraws? Why are people so upset? I stopped reading it just as the monster association arc was starting and now everyone's hating it, did they really change all the garou development stuff and after that? (If you could give me a tldr of the changes it would be greatly appreciated)

Murata redrawing some sequences isn't a new thing, something as far back as the Sea King conclusion was redrawn, but that's it, just a double page that didn't impact the schedule.

However, as the years went by Murata has really taken his redrawing habits to a new height, the Phoenixman vs. Child Emperor was redrawn in its entirety three times, which did start to impact the release schedule.

People at large didn't seem to mind those all that much though, as far as I can perceive it was the further divide between the webcomic fans and manga fans caused by the manga diverging more from the webcomic narrative that got people to look at whatever Murata does with a harsher filter.

The entire narrative of Saitama vs. Garou turned out to be very different in the manga version, Garou ends up in a very different place compared to the webcomic; that got some people mad, but it seems it is the whole handling of the Ninja Village Arc that really got even some manga fans a bit peeved, as not only the narrative is very different from the manga version but Murata broke his own redrawing string record, an entire year worth of chapter releases just got restarted due a redraw.

I dropped it after the monster association arc so I don't know about current stuff but basically during the monster association arc it started getting worse. It spend an absurd amount of time on far too many fights which was a slog at times and there were also some changes that weren't great. Plus it just seemed to shift away from humor in general.

Consume and don't question? That's actually the true sign of a well-behaved sheep.

Anyways, I loved this chapter and ONE's writing, we should all just be focusing on that and leaving the manga and its fans be. After all, I'm pretty sure the people that still like the manga are looking for fundamentally different things in their manga than us.

This was such a great chapter; with one move ONE pulled the rug under me and made me love Ryumon, I hope we're fortunate enough this year to get more and more webcomic chapters 🙏

The Murata version is better at depicting the monsters + action scenes and the One version is better at depicting the heroism + humans. I don't care what you like more but the people in this thread acts like they aren't two peaks is tweaking

ONE is such a good writer honestly.
I don't know what happened with the Murata version, but if the rumors are true and he took control over the narrative to turn it into his "own manga", that would explain the incredible nose dive and fan-fiction tier writing we got with his version.

In any case Ryumon is a badass, and Metal Bat is back!
Like it became what it was making fun of, it's really sad.

It sure does look like Murata is now in charge of the serialized version's story. The guy is ten stars out of five in artwork but zero in storytelling. It was sometime during the Monster association arc that I realized Murata doesn't get what OPM is about.

Its great to see the real story continuing.
