Man... you can't even use "bad English" as an excuse - there's a ton of typos on top of the grammar issues

@TehSDragon tbh, at this point I consider myself lucky if I get a chapter written in proper english... There's just too many scans with bad english floating around the interwebs.

We live in a world where even offical translations are sometimes trash.

@DonGiovanni Usually it's not bad overall for Japanese manga, and Korean webtoons/manhwa tend to actually have really good translations... but my God, why do nearly all Chinese manhua (especially the wuxia/xianxia ones, they're by far the most common too) feel like they were machine translated, put into a blender, and spit out with zero actual proofreading?

Makes you appreciate guys like allenallenallen333 so much more. Dude's a solo translator that actually takes the time to properly translate Chinese works, with proofreading, explanations for idioms that may be hard to translate, etc. Kind of looks like he's been busy and can't keep translating, which is understandable - just a shame since translators of his quality are rare

@TehSDragon I like your creative choice of words. :) And now that you mention it, it is indeed more prevalent in chinese works.
But let's be honest, the source material is often not any better. Most works are just rushed, rehashed rubbish.

And damn, that's a name I haven seen in a long time. His work was outstanding.
It's a shame indeed that he can't bless us mere mortals with his benevolence. (or something along those lines 😂)
