What is it with people liking the manipulative stalker childhood friend?
Everything he does is designed to trick her into liking him. She's turned him down, and he disregards it. Instead, he works a scam where he fakes being the understanding friend she can trust.
Also, he grabs her and won't let go.
And he just enters her room without even knocking on the door when she doesn't even know he's in the house.
He treats her like a game character, not a human.
Disgusting, actually.

Also, even when he SEES that she is interested in someone else, he doesn't respect HER feelings. That only becomes a starting point for yet another manipulation attempt.
He could have been written as a genuine alternative to Midori, but all I can feel now is that this sort of person needs to be punched real hard, and told that this is real life, not a game, and he isn't allowed to PLAY with people.
