What's up with the pacing lately, it's feels super rushed now after the fight with Junko? Author needs to slow down.

I wouldn't say now it's rushed. I mean it's always been a fast-paced series. Hell hinako found her ultimate goal junko back in chapter 7 in a normally paced series that would be like chapter 20 at the earliest when she first finds her and maybe like chapter 50 at the latest.

I do agree that the series needs to slow down though and actually give the threats time to breathe like rather than seeing it in flashbacks I definitely would have rather seen elis training Arc with the elves and humans along with seeing hinako teach her dance etc basic slice of life stuff so the danger can have more impact.

People just throw "axed" around too frivolously nowadays with no bearing. Story fast paced? Must be axed and finishing up. Series ending at a logical point but only in a few volumes? Axed for sure, not just a planned short story in no way.

The author (in their Pixiv) wrote the original Hinako was so powerful, they had to nerf her a bunch. I think we're about to see what the original Hinako was.

Chapters 12-15 were more confusing. Last two chapters did a good job of revealing the story. There is ancient tech which (some of the) outworlders can use. Hinako is one user. Priestess gal is another (she's protected by the behemoth, I assume). The ancient tech is so powerful everyone will come after Hinako now. So Carla is trying to get them to a safe location where they can hide. They get jumped by the elf. The elf is a bit much, I agree - pacing is fast.

Any source for the axed rumor?
