The "Los Alamos's Light" is indeed a reference to the Demon core, which is the name give to a sphere of Plutonium used in experiments after WWII. It was originally meant to be the fissile core of an US atomic bomb, but after Japan surrendered it was sent to Los Alamos (in the state of New Mexico) for scientific testing and study.

The "Light" part refers to the "Blue flash" that was witnessed in both incidents with the core, most likely Cherenkov radiation due to the massive blasts of radiation that happened as part of these incidents.

Kyle Hill's "Demon Core - The True Story" is a Excellent video explaining what was the demon-core, and both incidents it was involved in.
Kyle Hill has also a whole playlist of similar videos about nuclear-related incidents, if that is of interest.

I think it could also be a reference to the Cecil Kelley criticality accident.

Truly pathetic.
The boy's being immediately captured feels like a pointless jab at the isekai genre. It'd have been much more interesting if after being literally just being warned about being a shiny jewel that locals want to kidnap, he'd take the tip to heart and try to weasel out of their flirting and make sure he starts off where nobody knows he's an otherworlder.

For the very least, he can still bite his tongue to kill himself, it didn't seem like they gagged him.

Bro, that's just sad. I guess he was too innocent that he didn't really understand what could've been done to him. Although he did not use his ability. Maybe because he didn't have to guts to take his own life. Hard to say any of us will have unless we are subjected to a high amount of pain.

To be fair since he had no other abilities if they wanted to capture him they could do so easily anyway? I wonder if we'll see him again after this though, probably not.

I don't get it. She had a De javu but he didn't regress. But the only one there who could do it was him.
Replying to a very old post, but perhaps Takeryu was killed by the wyverns resulting in a rewind just prior to Hinako and Ellis's arrival.

If you have otherworlders coming left and right... The world adapt tô them like this seeing them as tools... but why the Church didn't catch this and used as form tô make a army of heroes.... i bet they did it in the war against the demons... i dont know i think this was a cheep jab at isekai.
