Easy. I like interesting and a little eccentric characters and don't necessarily equate how good they are of a person in-universe to how much I like them as characters. It's more or less the same concept as liking a villain. A villain is, almost by definition, not a good PERSON, but you can still like them as a CHARACTER.

I will never understand the whole "lol, girls just be groping and skeezing on each other all the time. It's fun!" attitude in these manga. Yeah, I know they're supposed to be titillating and not realistic and all of that. And yes, I understand that they are often made by and for horny incels who wouldn't understand the opposite sex if you gave them a manual and a month-long intensive training course. But even besides that: The fact that she has a very legitimate point of "both Kurena and Ao are being semi-realistically naive kids about their choice and financial future" is severely undermined by how she just turns around and stars perving on her friend after she tried to assault said friend's boyfriend for entrapment purposes and that her proposed better solution would've been just for Ao to prostrate himself to his abusively douchebag-monster father which would've also broken him and Kurena up and accomplished nothing except to make two people utterly miserable.

I get it. "It's just a dumb horny comedy manga. don't think about it so hard."

I wouldn't think about it this hard if it didn't make such dumb decisions. You don't have to try that hard to make us not notice this crap. You just have to put in the minimal amount of necessary give-a-damn that we can be all "woo! titties!" and be distracted successfully. Failing to clear that fantastically low bar is pretty bad.

Yeah thee was a very easy way to smooth this over:

• Kurena and Ao in house
• Mone comes over
• gets shit faced drunk
• end up with three way
• after sexy times, next chapter use post-nut clarity to talk about how Mone is worried about the future
• the whole "I beleive/I'll do my best" speech comes up
• life goes on, Mone begrudgingly accepts her BFF's wishes, maybe keeping tabs afterwards.

There. No rape (well, dubious based on acohol, but whatever), no gaslighting, no entrapment, and we still get the conflict in a way to show Mone's worried. Is it trashy? yes, who drops in spontaneously for a 3-way with their best friend and BF? but we're reading a manga called "Onee-san is invaing".
