The art in general does feel off this time compared to the last eval, (Still not bad by any means) but I assume the author is just conserving all their energy for the next chapter.

I just really wish we got to a better look at the girls dancing, we only got like 4 small panels of them dancing.

I think the art looks off on the girls because the focus is Dabi and Wonjin, its quite a common technique for drawing character focus.

I think because there hasn't been such focus on a side characters story unrelated to Yoil/Sanghyun's struggles before it feels off.

In fact the last couple of chapters seems to be developing more of the side characters...and Sureyon, I think its leading up to Yoil getting a debut spot.

As Wonjin said it was hard to get close to people from the debut position, developing the characters and forcing Yoil away from them is a to create a natural feeling drama

Dabi is Yoils fren of course but her story in this arc is very much independent.

I think this chapter really highlights the pros of having a such an ensemble cast, we've got what? 3 different perspectives from this chapter alone (vocal trainer-san, dabi, and hyojeong). and they're all depicted in no lesser fashion than the main MC's PoV. You'd think Yoil getting her shit together would make chaps boring 'till the climax of her hard work showing, but nope we just shift focus on the supporting character's perils. This chap actually got me to like Dabi, I thought she was a boring one note character but this chapter shows it really isn't the case. The dynamic between Hayun and the costume-design trainer is also great, always love to see them both! so is her dynamic with Dabi. Getting us perspective from the trainer's side of view for once is pretty refreshing considering we've only gotten a perspective from the trainee's point of view, lovely characterization.

Never doubted dabi btw, with that glowing review from the producer-san she's defo making it. Even if her skills are nothing outstanding, she makes for a great supporting character/idol for the rest of the group. It looks like we're inching ever closer on the long teased breakdown of Suryeon tho, she looks absolutely terrible and it's getting to it's nadir. It isn't out of the realm of possibility for her to break down in the middle of the monthly eval, which'd make for great juxtaposition with the presumably stellar MC's performance

I do love how expressive Dabi is, she's like the exact opposite of Mooyoung, interestingly both of them are extremely honest characters.

I dont want Suryeon to fail. She's a bitch but she's within a reasonable limit of being a bitch and hasnt said anything without some basis. You need characters like her to keep things spicy.

It would be hell of an twist for her get kicked out. I don't think one bad performances is enough to dump her chances. Since she is one of the better dancers there.

We saw her stick up for Yoil when Mooyoung was being a bit too harsh, cause we've seen her more in this arc it noticeable that she's actually nicer then her chihuahua personality gives off.

Health is important but it will be sad if this series goes on Hiatus, its really well written and at a high quality not often seen in TS series which seem to mostly be on gags rather then character development.

I don't think I've read a series that goes so much into the sense of identity and alienation at this level before.

In Korea, the author is presumed to be a perfectionist who resolves quality issues through continuous post-production revisions despite being busy. Korean readers are concerned about the author's deteriorating condition and miss the high quality of the early days, praying for the author's recovery and rest.
