@crazybars This manga indirectly explained about it in the latter chapters.
When the Tora sister was having some reservation eating burger by herself, Kiryuuin answered that she never got hungry ever since she turned into a giant. It also means that she never needed to go to the toilet.
I like the art style but the story is really missing something.
Felt really dull and shallow, feel like something bit deeper could have been done
I really liked the Osaka girl, feel like she could have had a greater impact in the story, or at least a better presence.
Also it feels like the relationship is one sided, we don't really see what hanao thinks about their relation after she became a giant except for "one dream". I didn't really felt the turn when she "abandoned him", it was like ok sure I accept my fate as it is, gotta beat up everyone
The author split a previous chapter in two in the volume release, so the chapter numbering was off by one until this chapter, where he skipped from 12 to 14 to make them match up. So there’s no missing chapter, the numbering is just weird.

Not sure though
legitimately one of the best works i've read on this site. i though this was simply going to be an Ultraman/tokusatsu homage romcom following an episodic slice of life structure
- and according to the afterwords, it very well could've been -
then the author made the best decision not to do whatever they were gonna do originally and came up with whatever the fuck this is instead
this story knows no such concept as "plot escalation." from chapter 1 till the very end, it's a constant fucking uphill climb. it has the pacing of Kill la Kill with the themes of Gurren Lagann.
not many manga will be able to say that it has a psychopathic maid, a traumatized NEET comedian, a communist revolution, aliens, American Democracy, A GAY GUY, and everything else you can think of, with basically every one of these elements and characters introduced somehow being relevant at the end, all in the same story about a girl who becomes big.
what an incredible rollercoaster ride.
if this ever got an anime, it'd be one of those where every discussion thread for each episode would have the wildest fucking reactions ever
Fans of fishbowl man would probs like this but I felt fishbowl man had the better ending of the two even though it was the one that got axed. To be fair though Abe Youichi is probs used to getting axed and having to wrap things up quickly
