I mean I would like to see someone here pulls out their academic papers somedays on these manga forum, this part is especially pretty contested because of the contrasting audiences views on gender expression.

Personally? I would like Minato to keep being a femboy (god forbid I call him trap cuz one of y'all will get offended), call it a fetish all you want since it's true anyways. Still if he genderbent, that's just applying a defining feature Mahiro had already, variety is better afterall.

Rule 1: Transphobia is against the rules.

You can't call Minato a trap!!!! Think of all the real trannies (lol) who get killed because of being labeled like this!!!! (lmao)

He should keep the dick, having one or two Minato-"chan" episodes wouldn't be bad since the drug is temporary anyways and there is also the super fast version but something precious would be lost if he stayed as a girl: IT WOULDN'T BE CROSSDRESSING ANYMORE!!!

the dick only makes it even better (even if its a cute smoll one like Minato's)

I think the whole getting offended at the word "trap" thing had more to do with a misunderstanding a non-anime person had.

If you really understand your history, you'd know it was actually making fun of homophobia the whole time, because getting disgruntled to the point that you'd drop the anime because your new waifu turned out to be a guy is just going to make people laugh at you. And trust me we did.

That's why the "are traps gay?" question was never not a meme. The question was not meant to assess someone's sexuality. It was an observation of the fact that artists became less detail oriented when drawing feminine men at some point.

Nowadays the question has been replaced with the meme/phrase "draw a girl, call it a boy" IIRC. A bit more blunt to say the least but it gets a point across.

Honestly, I always found that handwave lame. There's plenty of ways to keep gender bending as an element even if Mahiro crossed all the way over.
God as a transgirl I am getting so tired of the fact that the majority of Manga (being translated at least but I doubt it is that much different in the one not pick up) how author REFUSE to explore the theme and just is a background setup that is never mentioned, it is like worse than isekai where being an isekai add nothing the plot or the otome where the FL forget the book she is in... Why put a book back story if you do that, the only thing you will end up righting is a women in their 40's getting crush on teenager... And also they kill the host when take the body but like why chose theme if your not going to explore it :aquadrink:

On another note transgirl getting a bone is like a know thing, just the excitement and euphoria to finally be yourself for the first time, to be seen as who you are and weel seeing youserlf finally being free of the dreaded question of "is this truly me or"
Like anyone that ever talked to a transgirl should know that (not that every one experience it but it is a know thing and you can easily understand it)

Now I am not saying Minato is trans, you can definitely read it like that and it is a valid interpretation, even if the cis hate the idea that interpreting art based on your experience is possible :dogkek:, hello spiderverse Gwen
But for the same reason you can read them as trans it can be other self expression that are also valid way to feel about youserlf and express

And I am not really here to convince this comment section about what way is the ONLY way and why it is mine

But fuxk the dumbass that make big claim without have even the though of checking or talking to the demography of people he try to talk about, truly the privileged white male experience, the way I live and think is the only way possible :shamihuh:

And I also agree how the fuxk some people still read this if they hate trans and think it is based on biology and fetishism

Thanks for the chapter to the to team and nekotofu

He's developing an Otokonoko fetish, and the Otokonoko he's interested in is himself
I got four strikes in my comment. I'm sorry people, but I won't call the guy who cums in his pants because he's wearing girl's clothes a trans woman, that's offensive.
Minato is an Otokonoko with transvestic fetishism.

Ignore them, some people just feel think everyone must agree with their headcanons even if there is no actual evidence of such headcanon
See the whole drama around the third season of HibikeEuphonium as a prime example of such

I have nothing against different interpretations or headcanons, but some people here are too aggressive when it comes to sharing their views.
I don't think it's bad for someone to see Minato as trans, but don't force this on other or act as if not seeing the character as being so is an indication of bigotry
