The “sub” in “subplot” doesn’t stem from “subtle” here.

@Coolotamegane On the first page it should be weekday, not ordinary day. (heijitsu as opposed to kyuujitsu which is a weekend day. similar to how kyuukei means break) Also, it's bliss (saiwai) not pain (tsurai). Her line should be "...is bliss. // .... is total bliss." or something of that sort.

On a more relevant note: We're doin' it! Finally getting to Mahiro being forced to go to school ?

@crazyo School in Japan is different, especially once you get to highschool. There is a tremendous amount of pressure to get into a good college, so for many kids they go to school all day, then have club meetings afterwards (usually mandatory unless you have a family excuse), followed by going to private tutoring schools for several hours after that for more studying and mock exams. Systemic bullying is also much more of a problem in Japanese schools bc you have the same classmates all day and the teachers tend to turn a blind eye to that sort of thing for one reason or another.

I like you and all, dude, but could you maybe not make up conversations that didn't exist? I know I don't really use this site much, but I do check the comment sections here sometimes.

@Aereus
Ahh, yeah, you're definitely right. In the case of 平日 I just interpreted the first kanji as "peaceful" and went with "ordinary day" over "peaceful day" because I simply dumbed out. And yeah, I saw 幸い (saiwai) and misread it as 辛い (tsurai) instead. Huge apology to everyone for the mistake, and thanks a ton to you for noticing it.

EDIT: Actually, I double-checked the raws, and it looks like it really is 辛い (tsurai) instead of 幸い (saiwai). Either Mahiro's using it sarcastically like I originally thought s/he was, or it's a typo, or it's something else. *shrug*

It's cool, I understand. I know it's pretty hard to catch me when the next chapter isn't coming up, after all ? Just don't do stupid stuff like that again.

Also, since I'm here, might as well say that I'm excited to see more Asahi and Miyo in the future! Miyo especially, since yuri shippers amuse me so.

@Nazdrovie Ahh my bad then. Either way, I think the original wording was confusing and could use revision then based on Mahiro's expression. Should be dripping with sarcasm like "Maaan this is rough." "I'm barely holding it together." but you could try dropping a comment to Nekotoufu on Pixiv for that chapter and see if its a typo.

Wtf are you serious? What’s the point of school. It’s like denying his existence and age... he’s obviously overqualified since he’s a adult.

And here I was about to say that he still acts like a dude.
I like these new friends but their mind is a bit poisoned by society lol
