Minesweeper dead lock only happens in the older window (XP and before)
So there is always enough clue to solve.
In the newer version, sometimes i wonder was there a extra life on questionable move each game

I'm of the opinion that Minesweeper just gets boring if you can't get deadlocked. Minesweeper games that are solved almost entirely out of deduction are absolutely nice in their own right, but they get too easy after a while. I suppose another part of it is that it triggers my gambler's instinct when I have to click on a space knowing there's a 50% chance it's a mine... I should probably get help -_-

Dude you should also have an eye on mines counter, there's only one left in the map, thus the block which is intersection of the numbers 3 and 2 contains mine and rest are all blanks

Looks like everybody else already mentioned the fact that there's only 1 mine left...

@Ndtm advanced format is easy. I usually play a personalized format (24x30 200+ mines)
(I die often, of course XP)

As for the Minesweeper, I bet the box left of number 2 is clear, while the bottom left is mined and connected to the number 3.

Just my hunch though. I usually play the 99 mines level, and always encounter similar problem.
